Skills For Justice Workshop - Last Few Remaining Places

Last few places available. Don't miss out on the opportunity to attend one of our workshops to improve good practice in vocational training assessment. Implementing practical assessment skills and The New Assessor and Verifier Qualifications.

Implementing practical assessment skills

Aimed at those involved in the assessment and internal quality assurance process, (particularly assessors and verifiers) these will be practical sessions aimed at helping assessors and candidates with workplace assessment.

Sessions will show the links between everyday operational activities and the assessment process and will demonstrate how good assessment practice can improve operational performance without placing an additional burden onto candidates or assessors. It will also provide an opportunity to meet with other assessors and verifiers to share ideas and practice.

Workshops will be run by Emma Hutchinson and Dave Foster who are highly experienced assessors, internal and external verifiers with over 30 years of operational experience in the sector. Workshops will be held at our head office in Sheffield, last few places available on the following date only

  • Thursday 9 December

The New Assessor and Verifier Qualifications

These workshops are aimed at Learning and Development Managers, trainers, assessors, internal verifiers and any other staff with an interest in assessment and quality assurance. They will be practical sessions aimed at helping staff to get up to speed with the new QCF replacements for the 'A' and 'V' awards.

Attendees get the opportunity to meet with other assessors and verifiers from the sector to share ideas and practice. Workshops will be run by Geoff Carroll and Sharon Frazer, both experienced consultants who developed the new qualifications of behalf of Lifelong Learning UK. Workshops will be held at our head office in Sheffield, last few places available on the following dates only

  • Wednesday 24 November
  • Thursday 25 November

Both workshops are full-day events running from 09:30-16:30. In order for all delegates to gain the best from these events we will restrict numbers to 15 delegates per workshop.
