Offsite construction, which takes place in a factory-controlled environment, takes place simultaneously with onsite works to accelerate the overall project time.

Contingency Planning

PKL provides kitchen contingency planning guides, so that in the event that a prison is faced with a sudden loss of catering facilities, they are fully prepared and able to restore foodservice provision with minimal disruption.

Emergency response

In the event of an emergency that causes damage to kitchens, PKL can also mobilise temporary kitchens and catering equipment very quickly, including ‘ready chilled’ coldrooms and freezers that can be despatched immediately.
