New anti-climb fascia provides protection to vulnerable roofs

A new anti-climb bullnose fascia system, designed to protect rooflines from unauthorised access and vandalism is now available from Contour, the leading manufacturer of architectural and building fabrications.

The anti-climb design is particularly suitable for high security locations such as prisons, police stations and mental health facilities. It also provides additional security where pipes and frontages could be scaled for access, such as schools, hospitals & clinics, houses, shops, banks and offices.

The anti-climb bullnose fascia delivers perfectly in terms of both form and function. Its elegant design provides a contemporary finish to a building exterior, whilst fulfilling the core objective of providing a virtually unscalable roofline.

Key features of the anti-climb fascia include its ability to work in conjunction with almost any guttering system, its suitability for installation equally on new build or RMI projects, a heavy duty integrated internal framework ensuring a robust solution and main bullnose panels manufactured from 3mm thick aluminium alloy. For environments that are at high risk of abuse or damage, Contour can manufacture anti-climb fascia in mild steel or stainless steel. An integrated box gutter and downpipe is provided to complete the fascia system.

The visible surfaces of the fascia are Polyester Powder Coated and can be finished in virtually any RAL or BS colour specified. The PPC is guaranteed for up to 25 years

The new bullnose fascia complements Contour’s existing range of anti-climb downpipe protection and both can be integrated to ensure a harmonious exterior building design.
