TBA Textiles Ltd. are manufacturers of the FIREFLY range of Passive Fire Protection products. FIREFLY products are generally used for Cavity Fire Barriers and Fire & Smoke curtains for vertical barriers, but have recently been fully tested and assessed for use as horizontal barriers, opening up many more applications for this lightweight, fire and heat resistant range of products.

Offering products from a 30 minute fire and smoke barrier up to a cavity fire barrier that will provide 120 minutes fire and smoke and 60 minutes insulation, yet still maintaining the lightweight and flexible aspects of the barrier. FIREFLY barriers also provide good acoustic ratings.

Using simplistic, quick to install methods of insulation, the following applications can now be easily achieved using FIREFLY Fire Barriers:-

FIREFLY also manufacture Fire rated Covers for recessed luminaires and downlights - providing a full one hour fire rating to stop the passage of fire and smoke through an opening created by the installation of a luminaire or downlight.
